Dr. Roger Acquistapace has been providing compassionate, personalized eye care for over 30 years. A graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, Dr. Acquistapace earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1994 and has since dedicated his career to helping patients see clearly and comfortably at every stage of life.

Known for his approachable communication style and easygoing nature, Dr. Acquistapace enjoys building strong relationships with patients and making sure they feel heard and supported during their visits. He has proudly served the North Pole community for the past 7 years and continues to bring his expertise and genuine care to every exam.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Acquistapace is a true Alaskan at heart. He loves spending time outdoors and can often be found fishing the local waters whenever he gets the chance.

Sandi Acquistapace has been helping patients see clearly and feel confident in their eyewear since 1990. As a Licensed Dispensing Optician (LDO) and certified by the American Board of Opticians (ABO), the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE), and the National Academy of Opticianry (FNAO), she brings decades of experience and advanced training to every fitting.

Since North Pole Eyecare opened in 2018, Sandi has provided personalized, one-on-one service to patients of all ages. She takes the time to listen carefully, understand each person’s visual needs, and guide them toward eyewear solutions that offer clarity, comfort, and confidence.

For Sandi, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing the joy on a patient’s face when they experience truly comfortable, crystal-clear vision, whether it’s through new glasses or contact lenses.

Outside of the clinic, Sandi enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing in Alaska’s great outdoors, and getting lost in a good book.

With 28 years of experience in the eyecare industry, Angela brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge, leadership, and compassion to North Pole Eyecare. As both office manager and licensed dispensing optician, she ensures every patient receives attentive, personalized service, from selecting the right eyewear to creating a smooth, welcoming experience from start to finish.

Angela is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm, approachable nature. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for while supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic behind the scenes.

Outside the office, Angela enjoys spending time in the great Alaskan outdoors with her husband and son. Whether she’s camping, hiking, or cheering on her son at a hockey game, her love for family and community shines through in everything she does.

Marcia has been helping people see clearly and confidently since 2007. With certifications in eyewear technology, optical lab work, contact lenses, and refractometry, she brings both technical expertise and a warm, patient-first approach to every fitting. Since joining North Pole Eyecare in 2021, she’s been a trusted part of our team, always ready to guide patients through lens options, frame fits, and everything in between.

Her philosophy is simple: serve every patient with the same care and attention she’d give to a family member. She loves how the optical world is always evolving and enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest developments in lenses and eyewear technology.

When she’s not at the clinic, Marcia loves traveling with her family (camera always in hand!), crafting, and squeezing in a good book whenever she can.

Breanna is one of the friendly faces you’ll see in our optical, where she’s focused on making sure every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and confident in their eyewear choices. As an optician apprentice, she’s passionate about learning everything she can and is always ready to lend a helping hand.

Her approach is professional yet welcoming, treating every patient like family and making sure they know they’re in good hands. She loves working alongside a team that feels like home and finds joy in forming lasting relationships with the people she helps each day.

Outside the clinic, Breanna enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, especially when they’re out camping or skiing. She also loves getting creative in the kitchen and relaxing in her garden whenever she can.

April has been part of the North Pole Eyecare family since the clinic opened in 2018 and brings over 19 years of experience in the eye care industry. With a strong background as an ophthalmic technician, she now serves as our full-time receptionist, where her knowledge, attention to detail, and love for patient care truly shine.

Whether she’s welcoming you at the front desk or helping behind the scenes, April is committed to making each visit smooth, comfortable, and personable. Her years of experience and kind approach help set the tone for the friendly, supportive environment our patients know and trust.

When she’s not at the clinic, April enjoys watching movies, shopping, and traveling, especially when it means spending time with her children and grandchildren.
